This past year featured an array of outstanding speakers from the USMC and the Navy.  In November our Birthday Luncheon celebrated Marines both young and old.  I anticipate that our brunch meeting on Saturday, May 15 2010 will continue the tradition of excellence from 2009.  With this in mind I encourage everyone to contact Nikk Sherlock with your attendance request at nikk_sherlock@hotmail.com or 360.281.6308.

On 3 September 2009, several of our board members attended the UW NROTC Open House at the renovated Clark Hall on the UW Campus. Board members Tom Tomfohr, Chris Tibbs, Skosh T. Yorita, and Ed Doyne are pictured with 2ndLt Morgan Wiggin who is the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Marine Officer Graduate Sword and SSgt Christopher Johnson, the recipient of the LtCol Richard Bianchino MECEP Book Scholarship for Summer Quarter. Maj Arthur Crowe, Marine Officer Instructor, presented the awards on behalf of the Support Group and Vince and Celine Santiago (The Sponsors of the Bianchino Award). These awards are an example of the SUPPORT we provide to Washington Marines!
