If you ever wondered what one of our meetings is all about, this video is the final segment of our January 2013 meeting. Its highlight is the comments by Sgt Mike Kavanaugh one of our Chosin Few. Steve Sanford asks for continued support of the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Thanks to Col Tom Abel for a great presentation. Thanks to our Korean Vets that gave Tom input, Mike Kavanaugh, Fred Lillian, Captain Tim Timidasky USN, and Frank Albin who prepared a great handout. Thanks also to Alice and Steve Miller and MGen Tracy Garrett for the uniform presentation and to Lt Col Jeff Symons for the brief on Marine Week Seattle. As always, we thank Chris Tibbs for the thankless job of collecting the funds and paying the bills and Jim and Sharon Givan for leadership and the poster display. Tom and I want to dedicate this program to Col George Flood, 1st Lt Bladomero Lopez, the "Generals Smith" from HM and OP down to Norm and George, and to BGen Robert E. Galer who inspired us both in our love of history. They all serve to remind us of the 479 Washington Marines who gave their lives in Korea in the defense of freedom.
